The Eventuri Honda FK8 Type R Intake System was the result of extensive design iterations, dyno testing, and flow analysis. Developed with two clear objectives—maintain low inlet temperatures and de-restrict the turbo inlet path—the FK8 system delivers proven, repeatable performance gains across the entire rev range.
Optimized Airflow & Heat Management
To combat heat soak from the radiator, the filter is enclosed inside a carbon fiber airbox that seals against the hood, blocking hot engine bay air. The stock rubber tubing was replaced with an optimized carbon inlet path and Venturi stack, ensuring smooth, unrestricted flow directly to the turbo.
Dual Cold Air Feeds
Unlike the factory system, which draws through a single 35cm² duct, the Eventuri design adds a secondary feed with an air scoop from the inner wing area—nearly doubling the available cross-sectional area (an additional 28cm²). This dramatically improves airflow supply to the turbo, avoiding the restrictions of the stock setup while preventing the heat soak issues of exposed open-cone filters.
Proven Results
The FK8 intake system produces +14–20hp and +22–29ft-lb on a stock car with OEM mapping and exhaust. Real-world testing also showed a 1.2-second reduction in 60–130mph acceleration. Back-to-back dyno runs, performed on the same day with the hood closed, confirmed the consistent performance advantage.
