



Apex SM-10 Alloy Wheel for BMW G Series

This is the most significant new feature we?¢‚Ǩ‚Ѣve added. Weight is reduced by CNC machining material out from the sides of each spoke. It?¢‚Ǩ‚Ѣs expensive and avoided by almost every manufacturer, but we?¢‚Ǩ‚Ѣve made it affordable through volume production.
By saving weight elsewhere, we?¢‚Ǩ‚Ѣve added extra material where it counts. We beefed up the barrel?¢‚Ǩ‚Ѣs inner lip to better handle the abuse from the street and track.
Like all our APEX wheels, The SM-10 supports all OEM hardware like OEM Roundel center caps, wheel lugs, valve stems, and TPMS sensors. No centering rings are needed either.
The FL-5 is our only design with a front lip, and it’s also our only wheel that features the use of rotary forging for both the front and rear barrels. We did this because we needed to produce the strong style="color:#000"est front lip possible, and we can optimize the depth of the front lip for every unique width and offset when we use this more advanced production method.
Multiple face profiles are utilized to maximize spoke concavity and reduce weight on the SM-10 design. To maintain our great brake clearance the profiles and spoke curvature of this wheel is just like our EC-7 design.
The APEX Standard
We took more time than ever before on this step, revising and iterating our design to reduce weight as much as possible. After countless iterations we removed material from the sides of the spokes in a way that allowed us to increase strength over our previous designs.
All APEX wheels feature Flow-Formed construction that utilizes rotary forging to produce a strong style="color:#000" and lightweight barrel. The SM-10 is no exception.
True JWL & VIA Certification
You won?¢‚Ǩ‚Ѣt find tricky terminology to cover up a lack of testing here. We always do real world crush testing and get real certificates from the Japanese Government again to prove it, just like we?¢‚Ǩ‚Ѣve always done.
